Chocolate cheese cake

This chocolate cheesecake creation brings together the richness of dairy and the magic of chocolate in one unforgettable bite. Creamy, decadent, and crafted to be shared—because life’s sweetest moments deserve real dairy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium sized hollow chocolate eggs - will make 4 x puddings
  • 150 g medium-fat cream cheese - room temp
  • 1/3 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 150 g melted slightly cooled milk chocolate
  • 150 ml whipping cream
  • Small pack of Oreos 4 biscuits

DECORATION

  • Mini speckled egg
  • Mini chocolate bunnies

Instructions
 

  • With a handheld mixer (medium speed) beat the room temp cream cheese with the powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla essence until smooth.
  • Then slowly pour in the melted, slightly cooled chocolate while simultaneously mixing on a medium speed.
  • Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Then gently fold the cream into the cream cheese/chocolate mixture.
  • In a food processor, or in a Ziplock bag using a rolling pin, crush the Oreo cookies until you have a nice crumb.
  • Carefully split your hollowed out chocolate easter eggs in half. Then add about 3-4 tablespoons of crushed Oreo biscuits to the bottom of each Easter egg shell.
  • Gently spoon or pipe your chocolate mousse mixture on top of the Oreo crumb.
  • Place in the fridge for at least 3 hours, or overnight to set.
  • Dollop a little whipped cream on top of the set mousse, then decorate with speckled eggs or mini bunnies, or both
